Even the most devoted weather wimp will find a good weather day to dig out the rod and reel,
if they love fishing.
OK- all you fisher-people...
Time to go fishing...
The largest fish in the world is the whale shark. It can grow to more than 50 feet long and weigh several tons.
There are about 20,000 kinds (species) of fish.

Fishing for Bluegill
When fishing for Bluegill, much is dependent on water temperature. The smaller bluegills are mainly top feeders in warm water. Makes great fun for fly fishing, but the big guys are usually feeding about 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep, where the water is cooler.
Pieces of night crawlers seem to be the preferred bait. Just apply enough bait to cover the hook, rather than have excess dangling down. I use a light weight bobber, no weight on the line.
Bluegill will 'nibble hit', rather than run with the bait. So be ready to set the hook, just one quick jerk, when the bobber first starts moving. Reel in slowly, but firmly, don't get in a hurry.
Bluegill tend to school, so if you get a bite in one area (hole), try again in the same spot. Also, watch the surface of the water, as a V formation occurs when the school is moving.
When fly fishing or surface fishing, cast approximately 2 feet in front of the V, and you should get some action.
