In Those Moments Before Waking

In those moments before waking,
when I am neither here in a waking world,
nor there in a dream, sleep, differently-aware place...

Those exquisite moments when the Angels
or God or the All That Is
(or the sounds of my soul) speak...

And, (when I am care-ful) I hear.
