The Crocheted Square Adventure

Even with a knitting section to write in, time for anything but knitting seems scarce.

I did take up my crochet hook to make some squares to send to Pam of LoveAfghans4PRR. She had suggested the Country Button Square; I was able to send some in that pattern last week.

Crocheting isn't really my strong suit but I took myself in hand and said, "Self, let's make a lapghan for an Elder at PRR for Christmas." Such optimism!

With some bit of editing on the aforementioned Country Button Square, I could make a 6 inch square, before edging. After all the squares are finished, I'll pick a color to edge them all in and then whip stitch them all together.

I hope.

Since this little lapghan project began, the crochet needle has skittered off into a hiding place on several occasions, causing a breakdown in the progress. My knitting needles never wander off; I wonder why that is...
