We can not fault the weather here in Tucson, this winter. Sunny and 70+ degrees has been the norm each day. Will and many others run around in (what we used to refer to as) Bermuda shorts and T-shirts.
Night time is a whole lot colder, of course, as this is the desert. The windows in this rig are not blessed with double pane windows thus the cold air feels no hesitancy about slithering in at night.
I made a quilt to hang over the bedroom window above our heads; this has helped our comfort level considerably.
Also have been playing with quilting other bits for the house. Finished a little "crazy quilt" for Misser- he sheds more than can be believed. We try to provide him mats to sleep on, where ever he decides to plant himself.
Next quilting project is to make some nap-time quilts for the Head Start program at Pine Ridge Reservation.
