We are still working, working, working. Our friend, Charlie, tells us that as soon as you commit to a big investment, it feels like business is in the tubes.
We still like all the space we have in our home. We have a real table for meals! What a treat.
I ordered a big ottoman from a company in Indiana. It came unassembled in a box. Took about 12 screws to assemble. It was a pretty cool design idea. The inside of the ottoman is available for storage. Will says "Stash!" (Stash is what I call my collection of yarn.)
Just getting dark now. We've gained about 45 min of daylight since Solstice. How does that happen so fast?
We are very warm and dry here :) 60 yesterday- supposed to be 70 tomorrow. It is at night when the sun goes down that it gets chilly. The furnace in this rig works very well.
One feature I love is sort of an "attic fan"- a roof vent fan in the kitchen area that has a temperature gauge on it. When you open the vent, the fan comes on to maintain the temp you choose. It pulls in fresh air through the open windows so you can decide where you want the breeze to come from! I totally love it. Of course, if it is hot outside, the air conditioner is the better option :)
