The Long Spring

June twelve and yet another "Spring". Our travels this year have given us three and a half months of spring weather.

Looking back in this journal, I noted that spring in the desert was just about to "pop" at the end of February.

Last night it snowed in the mountains near us; today has alternated between cool rain, wind, and sunshine.

Unfortunately there is no "where" in the lower 48 to avoid some version of "July and August". But we try. We always try.
