R and R Time

Been doing a lot of R and R. Last winter was so intense- business-wise and we have decided we better slow down and kick back more!

Not traveling long distance is going to help. We are enjoying our first state park. We bought a season pass so our only daily cost will be $4 for electricity. And there is a greater feeling of spaciousness than in a commercial RV park. I do miss not having laundry facilities in walking distance, however. Always a trade-off.

This past week we were at Leasburg state park- site of one of the oldest dams on the Rio Grande (for irrigation). Tomorrow we are heading into Truth or Consequences for supplies, laundry and mail.

I am hoping this will be the kick-back summer that we need.
