Driving up through the southwest corner of the state, I was so struck by the pristine beauty of everything. All the farms are well-kept, tidy and tucked into their tree windbreaks. Nearly every field is clean and beautiful- not an odd weed sticking up anywhere. Such a sight- I was overwhelmed with the beauty.
I lived in this part of Minnesota 30 some years ago but don't have any memories of the beautiful countryside. Guess I had a different focus back then.
Arrived in the Twin Cities yesterday to visit with friends. We are going to sit here another day before moving into Wisconsin.
We'll connect with Will's brother and family at some time next week. Then on to see Todd. We're thinking of visiting the Dunes Area for a while, too.
Last nite the campground was so thick with trees that we couldn't hookup to the net with the dish.
We were without Internet access and we didn't turn on computers for 24 hours!! What a change! :)
