November and Arizona

We are settled in a park in Deming for a week or two or until the weather gets too cold or we decide we want to move. At least a week :)

We joined a "club" called Escapees or SKP for short. Membership gives us discount rates and other benefits. We will recoup the membership fee during our stay here at DreamCatcher RV Park!

Hope the weather holds as I really would like to sit here for a month.

Deming's claim to fame is Duck Races and good water. Good water is a blessing out here so we are enjoying it while we can.

Moving to Tucson- possible tomorrow. The furnace isn't working and we have to get to a repair shop.

Furnace may or may not be fixed as it worked just fine by the time we got to the repair shop. The guy did say that LP tends to not flow well in lower temps but, didn't have that problem last winter. We did have a part replaced that "could have been it". One of those deals.

Spent Friday nite at an RV park in Tucson- didn't like it so left in the AM and shopped all day. Then we came to this park on the west side of Tucson out in the desert. We like it here and may stay for awhile.

Staying for a month! We have a spot on the edge of the park- when we look out the window, we see wild desert and mountains in the back. Yummy :)

Well, this day has been a bust! Spent the afternoon napping. This has been the 3rd day of rain- huh. Not supposed to happen out here. Sunny tomorrow, maybe. At least this evening I can see the mountains. Lately they have been covered with clouds! 100% humidity!!!

Guess I'll pick up my knitting and call this day off as far as progress goes.

Finally getting decent weather here and the humidity is starting to drop. The 97% stuff is unreal in the desert.

One of our neighbors is a jewelry designer and supports herself by going to shows around the country. She is a very outgoing person so I can see that she could be successful. Met another gal in the laundry room who is a fiber artist- spinner, weaver, etc. and does shows too. I am glad I don't do craft shows anymore...

It is warm enough to have the fans on today. I find that I forget what season it is down here. I keep referring to this as "summer". If I could but find a place that is this cool in the summer!
