Lightfocus: Travel Log: 2002, the First Year
Arrived in Tucson yesterday and after a search found an RV park in town where the cell phone would reach. Nice park with a (gasp!) clean laundry area!
Martha Resnick stopped by today to chat about all things internet, marketing and design. (Previously met her as a client and subscriber online.)
Tucson, Arizona:
Yesterday, we were treated to a tour of Tucson by longtime resident, Serenata. We met her as a client sometime ago and were happy to meet her in person. She drove us thru the old part of Tucson, the barrio, so we could see the restored adobe houses. Then a drive around to see where an old village is buried under a parking lot in downtown Tucson. We were royally treated to delicious Mexican food at a landmark restaurant. In addition we drove to the top of "A Mountain" to see Tucson spread across the valley. Last was the San Xavier Mission. A wonderful day getting the flavor of the Tucson area.
