Pulled up stakes and moved yesterday. I get to feeling stagnate, sitting in one place for a month. Will doesn't share those feelings, but is beginning to understand my point of view. We found a park in Park Rapids, MN that is more or less in town. I may be able to walk around town and feel less trapped. I am debating whether to commit to a month or try to negotiate a weekly fee.

PS. A Schwans truck came thru the park... William dashed out waving a $20 bill, don't leave! We had Rocky Road icecream for dessert :)

Bought a library card for 10 bucks. Think we will stay a month. I can read a lot of books for 10 bucks, not to mention what William will read!

Day trip to Bemidji. Did laundry in Bemidji (we took a day trip to do laundry?!) and then to Itasca State Park to see the headwaters of the Mississippi.

Took the laundry to the laundromat on my bike. Worked better than I thought it would. Can only take a couple small loads at a time, of course, but that's no problem.

Big date tonight! We walked to the library and then stopped at a restaurant for dinner. The first time we went out for dinner since we started. Sure was a great break. Will has been pushing it a bit lately and is rather stressed.

Rained again last night and this morning we have no cellphone reception. If it doesn't get up and running today, we will have to move.

Later: I got so excited with the idea of moving that I was rather disappointed when the cell phone reception was restored.

Will walked over to the Pizza Hut to get a takeout for dinner tonight. Ooo... twice in one week we don't cook! Parking Dancer in town has definite advantages.
